Button Day has always been one of the most popular and fun events JK Richards Photography does for Genoa-Kingston High School! In 2020, along with all sports being cancelled in Illinois, Button Day was also cancelled.
Some of the sports resumed at the end of 2020 and into 2021 and JK Richards Photography created a protocol plan for Button Day that was approved by the Department of Health. We carefully adhered to the protocols of masks and social distancing required unless the athletes did an individual photo or a siblings photo. For the photos that had social distancing space between the athletes, JK Richards Photography edited the photos to remove some of the space to create a usable image. The 2021 Button Day Covid Style gallery includes the originals as well as the edited photos.
